Runnymede Runners compete in the Surrey Cross Country League

The men will compete in division 4 of the mens championship and the ladies in division 2 of the ladies championships in the upcoming season.

In the mens league the first 10 runners of the club count towards point scoring (with the winner gaining 1 point second place 2 points etc, so the lowest points score wins)  there is also a B team competition for the next 10 club runners to finish, each race is approximately 8 km long.

In the Ladies competition, the A team comprises of 5 runners from each club, again there is a B team competition which comprises of the next 5 club runners to finish.

In both the mens and ladies competitions each club can field as many runners as they wish

Starting this season Club Members will compete for the Mealing Trophy.

This trophy will be awarded to the lowest scoring (and hence best) Runnymede male and female runners in the senior, V40 and V50+ categories who run at least any 3 of the 4 Surrey League races in the calendar year.
