London Marathon Entry

London Marathon Club Entry Rules 

Every year the club are awarded a number of club marathon places; the draw takes place at the annual Christmas Party.

To qualify for a place, you must meet the following criteria:-

* Have been rejected from the VLM ballot and have a printed out copy of the rejection email, or a copy of the rejection letter.

* Be a paid up member of the club and England Athletics for 6 months prior to the draw

* Have run in 3 Club events

* Have marshalled/volunteered at 1 Club event

* Members cannot enter the draw, if they have attained a club place in the previous year’s draw.

Qualifying Marshalling Events: Staines 10K, any MABAC or Surrey League event requiring RR Marshals and the RR Relays Event.

Qualifying Running Events:  Any MABAC or Surrey League event. N.B. The Surrey Slog and The Cranleigh 15/21 are NOT MABAC league events

Please note: these events must have been completed in a 12 month period (xmas party-xmas party). Rejection emails must be received by the club secretary via email (admin@runnymederunners.com), with qualifying events detailed in it, before the xmas party. Exceptional cases will be considered by the committee.

The committee’s decision is final.
