DESCRIPTION:  \n  \nThe nominated parkrun is Upton Court in the field beside Slough Rugby Club \nThere are toilets at the start\, and a cafe serving hot drinks and food for afterwards. \nCar parking is recommend at the free carpark at the top of the park on Upton Court Road (SL3 7LX) \nThe course is two laps\, with the second lap slightly shorter than the first one\, on a mixture of grass and tarmac. \nThere are no big hills but there is a gradual elevation from the start to 1k (and 2.5 -3.5 on the second lap) \n \n

DESCRIPTION:The Surrey Slog Half Marathon on 23 July 2023 is an off-road 13.1 mile race that takes runners round the Surrey Hills near Holmbury. \nAlso known as the Holmbury Hill Half Marathon\, the event is somewhat challenging but rewarding on a hilly\, undulating multi-loop cross-country course.
